The main purpose of this job is to support the Payroll Manager in overseeing a Payroll team to effectively deliver on tasks related to the analysis, execution, and support of payroll operations and inquiries. It also includes leveraging project management and leadership expertise to oversee daily activities, creating an overall productive and enjoyable working platform for employees.

Duties/Works to be undertaken:
Oversees a Payroll team responsible for daily payroll transactions such as data entry, mass uploads, reversals/replacements, and payroll processing jobs (e.g., build to gross and gross to net).
Tracks various productivity and performance standards to ensure that established levels are achieved, especially during critical activity periods. Evaluates Payroll Specialists on performance and completes annual performance appraisals.
Supports the Payroll Manager in selecting, developing, hiring and managing a payroll delivery team.
High School Diploma
6+ years progressive Payroll experience.
6+ years previous experience in Payroll required, preferably for a large multi-state US company as a supervisor or manager. Experience in a shared service center environment preferred.
6+years experience with payroll processes, procedures, controls, regulations, and compliance requirements.
